Hey folks.  Had some techinical issues with the machine that renders the VODs this week.  It has held up production of VODs a bit, but everything should be sorted now, so I'll be pumping out the HQ content as quickly as I can after the holiday weekend.

Even though I've posted about it, the King of the Hill Round 6 VOD isn't quite done uploading.  It should be viewable shortly.

If you ever played any of the Tribes games (or even if you didn't), I highly suggest you check out Fallen Empire: Legions. Yesterday was the first big update in quite some time, and it brings many welcome changes. Like QuakeLive, Legions is a free browser-based first person shooter based on a classic game. If you want to check it out, head over to InstantAction.com and give it, as well as there other games, a spin! And while you're at it, friend me (FishStix).

SyncError has posted over at ESReality that the venue for QuakeCon 09 is switching from the Hilton Anatole to the Gaylord Texan.  Our understanding is that people who are registered at the Hilton as QuakeCon attendees will have their reservations dropped and they'll need to reserve at the Gaylord separately.

He also let gamers know the offical gametypes featured in the QuakeLive tournaments will be Duel and CTF, so start practicing!  Read the whole bit over at ESReality.

We would like to congratulate DaHanG, griffin, Rapha and allmEntal for winning Alienware Arena's Quake Live PC Gaming Season Open.

They each walked away with $500 in their pockets and the added bonus of knowing they won the first North American Quake Live online cash tournament. We would like to also congratulate all the competitors and tournament staff.
